Concierge Nutritionist – Karen Raden
Karen Raden, MS, RD, CCN, is a Registered Dietitian and Certified Clinical Nutritionist at Dedication Health with more than 25 years of experience helping patients improve their health through personalized, evidence-based nutrition. Her approach combines the science of nutrition with a thoughtful understanding of each person’s health history, lifestyle, relationship with food, and individual goals.
Karen works with a wide range of nutritional and health concerns, with particular expertise in digestive health, metabolic health, women’s health and menopause, longevity nutrition and healthy aging, body composition, cardiovascular health, and nutrition support for individuals using GLP-1 medications. She also has extensive experience working with patients who have complex medical histories, disordered eating patterns, and challenging relationships with food.
Rather than taking a one-size-fits-all approach, Karen looks at the whole person. When appropriate, she incorporates advanced laboratory and functional testing to better understand digestive function, nutrient status, inflammation, and other factors that may be contributing to symptoms or affecting long-term health.
Karen is particularly passionate about helping patients understand how nutrition can support both how they feel today and how they age over time. This may include strategies to preserve muscle and bone health, support metabolic and cardiovascular health, maintain energy, and improve digestive function.
Her recommendations are grounded in current nutrition science but designed to be practical and sustainable. Depending on the individual, this may include personalized nutrition strategies, meal planning, targeted supplementation, and ongoing nutrition coaching.
Karen also recognizes that eating is about much more than nutrients. Food is connected to emotions, family, lifestyle, culture, pleasure, and quality of life. She works collaboratively with patients to create an approach that supports their health without unnecessary restriction or perfection. Her goal is to help each patient better understand their body, feel confident in their nutrition choices, and develop realistic strategies that support both current health and long-term well-being.
